Gray grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where he developed a strong connection to the region's architectural landscape. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami, where he developed an admiration for architecture that is not only visually captivating through drawings but also deeply grounded in the fundamental principles of design.
